I absolutely love the branding on the Basix line-up. Glas managed to keep everything clean and professional, while still making the packaging and bottles look presentable; this proves that cartoon character graphics, catchy titling, and absurd vape juice names are not necessary to increase the value of a vape product. The gorilla bottles are a nice addition too.
Warm rich vanilla cake, sweet buttercream with fresh blueberries all drizzled in a sweet sugar glaze.
The aromas coming from this bottle were spot on with the flavor profile. You get a nice fluffy vanilla white cake with rich buttermilk frosting on top, and hints of blueberry topping. I also managed to pick up on a chalky characteristic that I’d associate with sprinkles.
Dual 3mm claptons on the deck of the Loop V1.5 RDA. Pulsed on the dual 18650 parallel box from silver steam vapor. Killer setup let me tell you what!
Front – Blueberries right off the bat. I’d compare the flavor to a bowl of freshly picked berries immersed in whole milk. The milk does a great job of cutting down some of the natural acidity, and adds a nice sweetness to the fruit. I picked up on a chewy sweet bread at this point as well; I wouldn’t go as far as to say it was white cake, but it had enough sugar to classify it as dessert.
Middle – All the nuances come forward in a big way. I notice a decent amount of white sugar, hints of fresh vanilla bean, and even some rich buttermilk frosting flavors. It’s hard to tell whether or not the cake is flavored like vanilla, or if it’s the frosting; either way it works for me. The blueberries remain in the picture, still lacking any acidity, and make for a perfect flavor combination when mixed with the iced cake.
End – A lot of the same going on towards the end. The sugar level in Blueberry Cake is extremely approachable; and I never found myself overwhelmed by the sweet aspects of this vape. The fresh berries remain strong up until the very end, and the vanilla bean really seems to shine.
Aftertaste – Perfectly clean, amazingly so actually. Considering the numerous sugary flavors that are present in Glas Vapor Blueberry Cake, things could’ve gone south in a hurry. Instead, Glas mixed this one up with care, which really allows the vape to be enjoyed through and through!
The Glas Basix line is all 70/30, so you’re probably not going to enter a cloud competition with it anytime soon. With that being said, this dual clapton build (.26ohm’s) on the titan was quite the cloud pleaser.
I’m not the biggest fan of blueberries, but I am a huge fan of buttermilk frosting and vanilla. I was definitely surprised at how approachable this flavor was, Glas did a great job balancing the sugars in this bottle. If you’re looking for a clean all day dessert flavor, I’d seriously suggest giving this one a go!
