That classic chewy fruit taste is undeniably delicious. Glas Basix Strawberry Gummy isn’t quite as complex as I would’ve liked it to be, but is quite tasty never-the-less.
I absolutely love the branding on the Basix line-up. Glas managed to keep everything clean and professional, while still making the packaging and bottles look presentable; this proves that cartoon character graphics, catchy titling, and absurd e-liquid names are not necessary to increase the value of a vape product. The gorilla bottles are a nice touch too.
I’m definitively not the biggest fan of candy vapes, but could not pass up a tasty strawberry e-juice.
Glas Basix Strawberry Gummy E-Liquid is the old sweet shop’s favorite little red bear given an oh-so-sweet, but oh-so-sour showering of tongue-tingling sugariness.
Geez, the smells coming from this bottle are enough to make you drool! The aroma is something like a mix between the pink chewy starburst squares and those little gummy disk shaped candies.
Dual 3mm fused claptons on the deck of the Goon V1.5 RDA. Pulsed on the dual 18650 parallel box from silver steam vapor. Great for flavor and clouds!
Front – Everything that I expected to be present in Glas Basix Strawberry Gummy is noticeable immediately. A complex strawberry, made up of hints of fresh berries and candied berries. And a nice chewy texture that makes you salivate. The sweetener is riding in my comfort zone; it’s hasn’t surpassed it yet, but is a few grains of white sugar away from doing so.
Middle – More of the same chewy strawberry notes work to make a really mouthwatering flavor. The natural ripe berries give way to more of a candied strawberry syrup deal. The sugar level dies down a bit, allowing a more full-bodied candy taste to make its presence known.
End – Nothing new on the backend either. Normally, the candy flavor will die down a bit, but not this time. Glas Basix Strawberry Gummy remains just as potent throughout the vape.
Aftertaste – There’s no getting around the sugar in a candy liquid, I know. And Glas does a pretty good job at keeping the sweetness at bay. Amazingly, there were no lingering flavors of any kind here.
The Glas Basix line is all 70/30, so you’re probably not going to enter a cloud competition with it anytime soon. With that being said, this dual fused build on the titan produced some pretty dense white vapor.
Strawberry Gummy is exactly what it says it is, and I think it fits into the Basix line quite nicely. I feel like the addition of some fresh cream, or even a touch of custard would have taken this one to another level. Regardless, this flavor is one that I would recommend to a friend, and seek out in the near future.
